Default Lite-on DVD-ROM not reading

Hi
My Lite-on DVD ROM drive is not reading any DVD. Any DVD I insert just spins. Should I buy a lens cleaning disc or give for service.
Thanks

Dude welcome to the world of cheap lens in DVD writers....This is the most common issue I have observed..I can surely bet the lens is damaged..If it is under warranty then u go fast & collect a new one...If it isn't then it is time you threw the DVD writer into dustbin & get a new one....Nowadays I have lost all confidence in DVD writers...They suck like hell

@nucleuscore, you are not alone. My liteon DVD writer stopped reading CD's 10 days after buying it.
