Can we use TV as monitor ?

Hi guys, my friend wants to use TV as monitor....
Is it possible ?
If yes then tell how to do it ?
Do he need to buy a graphics card for TV output ?

yes u wud need a grafics card wid with tv out.
i already have a tv out on my onboard grafix. so check if its available onboard. otherwise u wud need a grafix card wid tv out option
One piece of advice: Its really not worth it unless u just want to watch movies,etc.

agree, Saw a Samsung LCD TV running as a monitor in a Tech Fare... looked pretty Fuzzy in desktop, but when they run a WMP or Game, performed good with that !!
