Sony DRU 170C !!!

i was looki on to buy a dvd writer for such along time & finally i brought a sony dvd riter dru 170 C 18x speed for 2000 ,come bundled with nero 7 trial version..
well, i was looking for liteon , but the service was not available in my place..
So i havnt installed it yet, waiit for my computer service man..!!
So is this a good choice,!!! i know i have already brought it, but still
I have never seen any Reviews Of ths particular model in this forum!!! but abt models like dru 810 & 830 A...why so?? is it bad.?

Though it's entry level dvd writer it's vista ready and a good buy.It's a coincidence that i was also looking for liteon version Super allwrite 165p65 but bumped onto Sony DRU 170C yesterday.I heard that it's got good performance and it's priced at Rs 1900 here and USD 49.99.I wanted to backup my xbox 360 games but thought it was a good idea if i did a bit of research on the net.Digit mag rated DRU 830 the best buy Zero one award this December.
