Hi
I don't know what's wrong with my drive which I got as replacement for my old DVD writer which was not able to perform read operations.
The problem wht this new drive is,
When I take out the tray the LED of Writer and HDD glows at one time
When it reads something then too they glow with same frequency(Even though I am performing an read operation form disc).
Both the LED'S act as one when doing something with my drive
Moreover when I burn an cd OR dvd it give "power calibration error"
It cant even read brand new cd of MS OFFICE TRIAL
I have tried cleaning the lense with Branded Lense creaner discs
What may be wrong
Is there any setting in bios after installing a optical DRIVE
Model is SONY DVD RW AW-Q170A
Moreover I cant find any online support for such drives
Anyboy, How to solve this prob????
OR atleast Please tell me where is the service center of sony optical drives in mumbai
