Default Press F1 to resume??


i got this msg at POST...
then i changed my battery...
after one month i again got that msg...
Now after setting the new time and date and all other settings its working fine...
but sometimes i get this problem...
wat can b the problem??

Clean the contacts of battery and also of mobo socket of battery. U can use alcohol dipped soft cloth for this.

See if does not solve with ^^^^ above ^^^^^solution...and if this persist then it could be a motherboard problem...the capacitors on mobo are taking up the battery power...u will need to reapir ur mobo..soon...very soon

Just enter your BIOS, set the date, change other settings, save and exit. It should work. I've seen my friends PC which asked me to press F2 on every boot even after replacing the dead battery. After entering the BIOS, changing the settings, saving & exiting the message never came back !

me 2 had the prob.. in fact have it yet... but got used to it... might b motherboard prob.. mine freezed 6 months back. Repaired... this prob comes up now & again.... If it doesn't go on batteryreplacement... 90% chances of prob not bein battery. Motherboard gonna crash pretty soon, bro...

gusy the vendor said he will but that for 1500...
is that enough??
and will take 3500 for a new Intel original...
I m having that 2.66 (64bit edition) or wat eva the people call it..
