Default DVD Drive not reading CD DVDs.. plz help..


Guys.. DVD drive(SOny) is not reading any CD or DVD...... Tray is opening as well as closing properly.. but no readng of CDs nd DVDs

Open your Cabinet, unplug the drive cables, clean the connectors as well as the sockets with a soft brush. drive out the dust from the mobo. Reinsert all the cables and try.

switch controller if its IDE1 connect to IDE 2 and check out .... . also replace the cable... check if that works
