sir i wanted to upgrade my pc to buy core to duo..
but my vendor told that for that i have to upgrade everything from ram to ddr2 and hard disk to sata. also there is pircy issue that pirated software wont work on core 2 duo. and it will cost more than 18000 inc tax
are all this true... []

so i decide d to buy pentium d (dural core).
i wanted to know the performance difference between them and a sutable motherboard for it . i will use the machine for gaming an entertainment.........

Increase your budget and get Core 2 duo.I have Pentium D.And i cant see any difference b/w PD and Pentium 4.So go for Core 2 duo.E6300 or E 6400.

While Core2Duo is going to cost a bomb (around 16 to 18000) it does not come with copy protection so any software will run as long as it is compatible with the operating system.
