Cost of Creative Inspire 2500 adapter

Does anyone have any idea as to how much a new adapter of Creative Inspire 2500 speakers cost?I have lost mine(yes it is possible to lose that bugger if you try hard) and my dealer is quoting a price of Rs 900 which to my mind seems a tad steep considering that the original speakers cost me Rs 1800.
He insists that the price is right.

Contact creative directly for the support, I guess it should be around 500-600.
Mine older model 4.1 was giving some problem went directly to Creative (delhi) & they gave me option of repair for Rs 200/- & new one for Rs 400/-

I got repaired as it was a minor sound problem.
