suggest agp 8x grafix card of 4k

hi ppl i want to buy grafix card of upto 4k which can play fear dar cry doom3 gta sa smoothly . i need 2 yr futureproof card . thanks

for 4k u'll get a 6600,but it wont be a 2yr futureproof card.
at present only the high end cards can give that assurance.

I recently came across the XFX 6200 for 3200 so I think if 6600 is available at ur place go for it. My dealer says it isn't available.

nvidia 6600 has stopped production and only its GT is available. But u look for old stocks. U can get 256 MB XFX 6200 for 3.2k nd 128 MB XFX 6200 for 2.8k.

U can get XFX 7600GS for Rs. 6400/-, XFX 6800XT for Rs. 6800/- in Nehru Place. Add/Subtract Rs. 100/- as prices vary from day-to-day.

u can play FEAR @1024*768 at high settings, but not at extreme setings. U have to scale down 1~2 heavy effects like soft shadows nd pixel doubling.
If u can stretch ur bidget a lil bit more then u can opt for cards which g_goyal2000 suggested.

A 7600GS[6.5k] is a bit more powerful than a 6600GT especially when latest nd future games are concerned which uses more HDR, SM3 etc.

A Zebronics 6800XT 512 MB [7k] berforms better than 7600GS and with 256 bit 512 megs of memory, its a gud performer. U can use more texture intense effects as it has 512megs for all those textures. It performs somewhat near a 7600GT.

Get a XFX nVidia 6200 256 MB for around Rs. 3500/-

waitings not gonna help u as after 3~4 months maybe u ll have hard time gettin an AGP card. SO get a decent card before manufacturers stop support for AGP.

Where did u buy it from? The prices vary depending on demand, supply, location, etc.
And I didn't say it was for Rs. 3500/-. It may be within 3000/- to 3500/- bucks, or maybe more.
