Having problem with PC

I am having AMD 3200+,ASUS SLI-deluxe mobo,512 mb ram, GF6600 LE ,200 GB WDC.The problem is when ever I watch movies the picture hangs for few seconds and continues.and some times i get a blue screen.I am having two ram modules one is 256 DDR 333 and the othe one is 256 DDR 400.what is the problem with my PC.

Causes:

Bad Ram- try cleaning it or replacing. also check on another comp.
Bad HDD- defrag, check for bad sects. also check on another comp.
BIOS Caching enabled- Disable BIOS caching.

mostly I get this error message STOP message:0x0000009c and 0x00000007E

@neoalies,

Is BIOS Caching enabled? If yes try disabling it. When i enable it, BSODs start appearing.

take out ur gfx card,clean contact points and pci-e slot,do same with ram.
if prob persists after that,try a higher watt PSU.

Try running memtest to chk the ram. Available on linux install disc or the ultimate boot disc

Take out each of the ram modules and try running PC using 1 module at a time.
Also update: chipset, gcard, and sound drivers.
Also install latest autopatcher.
