Urgent Hardware & Chassis
Hi i am new at this so....
I am getting a new system, and having trouble getting the right kind of cabinet & Psu for it ,kindly lend me your wisdom and exp.
specifications:
Pentium D 2.8 (2*1 Mb)
Intel DG965WH
Kingston DDR2 1Gb (667MHz)
XFX 7600 GT
Seagate SATA 250 Gb (Barracuda)
Sony 18X D Layer RW
Cooler master Elite 330 or Centurion 534
1) PSU is the main thing here, should i go for Cooler master 380W or higher (i will get a C2D in 7 to 8 months ,all the rest will remain same except RAM)
2)I also want to ask about Zebronics PSU 500W-platinum(Rs 2200/-),how does it compare to coolermaster, quality wise.
3)Can i install a zeb-500w Psu in coolermaster centurion/Elite model Chassis.
Zebronics Peace VS Geforce2 ?? [Price range Chassis+PSU=4500/-]
I want to get this system ASAP

Re: Urgent Hardware & Chassis
380 will do fine as for now but the moment u add more HDD & other additional cards & peripherals or upgrade to C2D then only u will needs more than 400 watts.
I bought zebronics 500w platinum along with Peace case.
XFX minimum required is 350watt & it has dual port soif u ever use 2 monitors then u will be short of the power.
If you play games & are sure that u will upgrade then either go for cheaper 400 watt as of now & while upgrading in future buy the 500 watt psu then, the rates will come down or for same money u will get better one by then.

Re: Urgent Hardware & Chassis
Since u asked , I just checked on my XFX box its mentioned as 350watt as minimum, this was bought on 20 jan 07.
I got 400watt zebronics earlier but later bought the 500w platinum.

Re: Urgent Hardware & Chassis
Ur welcome,
I guess so bcoz the psu sizes are common, just remember that this PSU has a top fan so in cabinets where there is no top vent u have to mount it ulta as I have done in peace.
R coolermaster cases available in delhi? if so where?
