GeForce 6100 or 6150?

Hello!
Friends I want to know the difference between GeForce 6100 or 6150. I am buying a new mobo and the choices are:
ASUS M2N-MX(6100)
ASUS M2NPV-MX(6150)

The price difference between the two is 1K. I have found that this(6100 & 6150) is the only difference between the two mobos. What is the difference between these two? What do you guys suggest? Should I go for M2N-MX(readily available) or M2NPV-MX(will have to order. not readily available)? Please give some details for your preference.

After checking the comparison I guess M2NPV-MX is the right choice. But you are saying M2N-MX is gr8?

get 6150 one. It is just slightly better than 6100. But if u can get a graphics card hen better go for 6100 as it will save money. There isonly little difference between them

I'm using Asus M2N-MX and performance is gr8.u may buy it.

6150 has higher clocks, so better performer. Also it supports HD decoding but 6100 lacks. So 6150 is more future proof.
Also latter has gigabit lan.

Guys this is the prices i got:


AMD X2 AM2 3800+ for Rs. 6100
ASUS M2NPV-MX for Rs. 5100
ASUS M2N-MX for Rs. 4100

So are these price okay?

Yes its good prices...especialy for the proccy

You may also go on to AMD X2 3600+ instead of the 3800+ as the difference in performance is just about 5% due to cache difference.But you will save about 1k.

And also go in for the 6100 chipset as the difference is also about 5% only.
And save a further 1k.

Then finally with about 2k saved money,buy a low end graphic card which will be a lot more better performance than them.

Watever proccy u buy (3600+/3800+) buy the 65nm variant and not the older 90nm.The newer 65nm proccy r better is many ways.

Go for the 65 nm if you are concerned about power consumption but go for the 90 nm if you are for overclocking as the 65 nm have not matured enough to be overclockable(for amd )
