dual core means having two cores , basically like 2 processors in one package , core 2 duo comes under category od dual core , AMD also has a dual core lineup and also Pentium D is dual core .

That is what I have been exactly requesting difference between PD dual core and Core 2 Duo. They both are dual core, isn't it?

also all proccys having the yonah core r core duos andd tose wit the conroe core r c2ds.. and c2ds > core duos..
