Can I use 19 in monitor?

Hi,
Can I use 19" monitor with my old P4845GLM. The resolution is 1400*900, while my onboard card just shows 1064*768 and 800*600 and nothing in between.

yup u can... And u can also use 800 x 600 on ur 19"

Yes you can use the monitor however you would only be able to play games at its native res of 1440x900(though the FPS would be more of a powepoint slide show). However I feel 845 has intel extreme graphics with CRT resolution of 1600x1200 @ 85Hz, so I presume you have not installed the graphic drivers properly otherwise it should show all other resolution options as well.........Also make sure the monitor has the VGA 15-pin D-Sub connector apart from the DVI, otherwise you would not be able to use it with this board......

Recently i've bought a 17" LG L1752S TFT LCD Monitor.I wanna know whether its picture quality is similar to samsung 740B and 940BW.Plz reply.Sud u think that i sud get the monitor changed?

Ur display driver shows only the settings which ur monitor can accept. U get higher options when u connect the 19" one. Also u can set higher resolution if u lower the screen refresh rates.
