PC stops in BIOS... Plz Help....

I m using AMD Athlon 2600+, 512 RAM.........

My PC facing a very typical problem........ When i start my PC then stops or freeze in the BIOS....... after pressing a reset button 4-5 times it restarts normally...... I tried by removing and reseting my CMOS Battery, but no use....


Plz help me out im in big trouble............

iopen your cabinets and check for loose connections... then take your ram out and clean the slot and RAm and then put it back... also check your SMPS.. for trouble.. how much watts your SMPS is .....

I checked for loose connection but no use....... ok i'll chk my ram out and clean the slot....... My SMPS gives my PC 400 watts..........

thats ebough i guess.. so did you install a new hardware... if not then take your RAM to a friend and check it in his PC or borrow a RAM and then CHeck it installing it in your PC
