There's some setting in BIOS under power management, something like 'Restore on AC/Power Loss'.
If this is enabled, PC will reboot when power is restored. Check your mobo manual, if it is enabled in this case, then there could be some issue with the UPS. There might be some gap felt by the system while the UPS is delivering power when the mains supply goes off.
Disable this option in BIOS (if it was enabled) and see how system behaves when power goes OFF
if the ups is not new then..ups is the culprit..
u ll understand after listening to my prob..
both ups and smps are dependent..read below
my ups also takes a restart if voltage fluctuates or goes ..
why becoz battery is old 2 years..
also when i was just surfing..and voltage fluctuates ..the ups works fine..
now the main thing..when i play POP T2T the pc need more power
and i ve a 450 w smps and if vol fluctuates the pc got restarted
everytime..this means ups just can't cope up with the power needed..
hope u got yr solution..
if u like it then rep it.

I think the UPS trips when the power goes because its not able to hold power for monitor. Try switching off monitor and then switching off power supply ..
