i recently bought a AMD AM2 Athlon 3000+.
i need to know some things...
1.How do i check for the cache memory
2.And AM2 is a answer to Intel's dual core right?

Pleae let me know.

And i have a 512 DDR2 @ 533Mhgz.
and a Geforce 6200 @ 256MB.

Now can i play far cry,F.E.A.R and stuff like that.

1. Use CPUZ to find out. Google for it.
2. Yes AM2 is answer to Inter Core 2 Duo and yes it is a dual core.

Yes you can play the game with low or medium settings.

socket AM2 supports DUAL CORE but the CPU youa re using is a single core CPU... and NOT a DUAL CORE.. DUAL core series is X2 and FX from AMD and C2D is well above Athlon 3000+ and even it beats X2 series

but the last part is not clear.
Do you mean that intel's core 2 Duo beats X2!!

yeah C2d beats X2 series also but not FX series...

INTEL is good in stability and performance,, it can have a lot of load to handle.. but i think AMD lacks behind in this...

and DUDE i too have AMD only

so don't think that i am a AMD hater
