Question DVD Drive Issue


Hi guys
I have 2 drives...one is samsung CD-RW/DVD combo(sec.master)
one samsung DVD drive(sec.slave)
now on windows XP,it detects master but not slave?!?!?!
the device is detected in bios though
so what is wrong

try disconnecting the device ans plugging it in slave with HDD. if it detects then.. then you need to place a jumper in your slave drive .. and if not then disconnect your primary combo and connect this drive if it works...

in addition to @shantanu_webmaster reply check the BUS slot in which previously u were connecting slave by connecting primary to it this time and ensure it is working fine or not.
