Heat Sink holder

Hi guys,

My heat sink holder(The cage like thing which holds the heatsink with the procy..) somewhat broke when I opened it up to clean the processor..
Well the question is : Will I get a replacement frm the market ?

I asked many vendors and repair-man and guess what they answered: "Aapko heat sink ke saath hi milega, khulle mein yeh sab nahin milte.."(U'll get the thing with heat sink only.. They don't sell in open.. )

This is really a big problem (In India sp.).. You don't get the thing which you want. You get the thing which they want you to buy...
So any suggestions what I can do??

Srry this is not what I want..
U see the heat sink is holded using a cage like thing with four locks. One of the locks is broken. See the heat-sink on ur mobo u'll surelly find it

You mean the black cage with four legs.I also think it is not sold seperately.

in that case, you cant buy that part separately.

Either u can buy both or if its not too much broken u can use it
if 1 lock is working then usually it works

dont take chances dude.

uneven pressure & gap (if any) can cause more heat.
