Hey guys plz do help me decide the computer config.. My budget is 50000.
Pc would be used for moderate gaming and casual movies n all.
Lcd monitor is a must.

C2D 6300
Ram - Transcend 1 Gb
Dvd Writer - Sony
Cabinet - Zebronics
HDD - 250 GB

Graphics - Do suggest
Motherboard - Do suggest
Speaker -

Plz suggest if smthing needs to be changed.

m/b -> ASUS P5B Deluxe (with or without WiFi). - cost ~12k
Gfx.-> get any low end cheap card for now & when the DX10 gfx. cards come to India get them

pathiks is right about the motherboard.Get a Gigabyte DS3,because its the best among all 965 & best for overclocking or if u wan't to buy an nForce based,try 680i(any).And Get a Leadtek or XFX7900 GS,its costlier that 7600 GT but its much better than 7600 GT & Antibiotics is good cabi but also try Cooler Master,trust me its worthy & also grab a 500-650Watt PSU from Cooler Master.

Beg to differ... the DS3 is a nice board but no way in the league of P5B Deluxe/Commando. DS3 has major issues clocking RAM... most micron D9 based ram gets stuck at 455 which isn't great. Plus the DS3 is always stuck at the 1333MHz strap which means at upto 400FSB, it'll be slower than a P5B board at the same CPU/FSB/RAM frequency.

This Intel motherboard is not good enough. If U R planning to buy graphic card then go for Gigabyte 965 DS3 motherbaord or MSI 965 Neo.

As regards TFT, viewsonic VG 1921 or VG1930 both 19" wide model would suite you. The VG 1930 is with DVI interface. All of them have built in small speakers. This is far better than samsung.

View sonic has also launched 17" wide. 5 milisecond response time [grey to grey] is ok. You don't need separate PSU, it will come with Zebronics cabinet. Make sure it is more than 450 watts.

These shortcoming I guess are taken care by the new DQ6 a step ahead to DS3

or rather a DS3P .. the newer revisions are doing awesome (not me , but the reviews say so) .. easily pushing E4300 over 3.2 GHz .. initial models did have mem. problem , AND SO DID P5B Deluxe (1st hand experience ) ...

Personally i'd recommend a Gigabyte DS3P .. or else put in a bit extra cash and get the P5B Deluxe ..
