Default LCD Monitor lines.....

I have a LG LCD Monitor...model no is LG L1730s....

recently it used to show a line vertically across my monitor which is of 1 pixel thickness. The color of the line used to vary depending on the application used...After 2 weeks or so the line gradually disappeared. It used to be displayed only when I used the system for more than one hour or so. Once it appears restarting the machine will also not solve the problem.

Is it a monitor complaint or some mistake related to OS that I have installed?

My OS is Windows XP with Sp2 and I also have a graphics card. Please help if any of you have experienced such problems.

Thanks in advance.

This is a sign of some problem with LCD, my friend laptop started having such problem & then one fine day that thin line got 2 inch thicker band & it finally had to be replaced.

If ur lcd is under warranty then get it checked/replaced.
