About 6800 Geforce

Hello Guys,

I recently acquired a XFX 6800 128MB card [ Ordering Code PV-T40K-NDD7 ]

Actually I wanted a 256MB one but by mistake a friend of mine got this one. Now I am doubtfull if it is even a descent one.

I need your views since I have to decide what to do about it.

It is a good card. You can play the game on medium or high setting depends on what game you want to play.

You should have got Geforce 7 series. Well it is ok for now. Wait for few months and get a directx 10 cards.

It is a very good card in it's class, obviously a 256MB would've been better but there is no dramatic performance difference between the 128MB and the 256MB as far as gaming is concerned...it will play all the reletively latest games in medium settings eg. NFS Carbon, Half Life2 Episode One etc
