dataone router settings
i ve ut300r2u router
i am using it under bridged mode
can sm1 tell me how to set it in pppoe mode
bcoz i am unable to do so by just changing the option to pppoe and saving my username and password

Is it working in bridge mode?
by the way
Try this
got to 192.168.1.1
choose tools
than click on MISC.
click on restore
wait for the modem to restart and see if it works.

in the "connection type" drop-down box select PPPoE (it should be there)

in connection type there r pppoe llc, pppoe vcmux
i select pppoe llc and am unable to do anything

then select the vcmux, as it had been selected in PPPoA type (frm the pic)

no dude, select vcmux in PPPoE.
i said tat coz vc-mux was selected by default in pppoa type.

it is connecting in pppoe llc
i can say this bcoz it shows green light when correct password is given and red light when wrong password is given.
but no site is opening

you are setting the "user name" & "password" every time you change those setting, dont you?
i'm really sorry buddy, but i have no clue about this Modem (UT300R2U) settings. b'coz in this MT880 modem there's nothing as VC-MUX, LLC...
tell me what are in the "Authentication" drop-down box.

yeah, i meant that every time you change those PPPoE setting, then enter the "usr /passwrd" & select-> Apply/save->Reboot modem (frm modem page)

After this go to tools
misc
click on save and reboot.
