can i use my monitor as a standalone tv using tv tuner?how??????

i mean standalone that is no connection of the monitor with cpu!!!!!

Yeah EXTERNAL tv tuner has nothing to do with cpu.It is Internal tv tunar card which is inside the cpu.

External Pros: Doesn't use a PCI slot.
Internal Pros: Videa can be recorded

as u see the pros for 1 type are con for other. I wud suggest using an internal tv tuner card however this wonnt be standalone.

Get a USB 2.0 tv tuner card.U can use it both as stand alone and 4 recording when u connect it 2 ur pc.
