Question Combo Drive!!!

I use a LG combo Drive and many other from us too. And i also use a LG dvd player on my TV.
I have a original DVD that got much scratches, i can play this DVD on my LG DVD player but my combo doesn't read it.
My friend's SONY DVD writter is also unable to read it. We both have original Drives. What is this? Is there any way that we can make our DVD drive read all scratched disks?

Nope you can'nt do a thing about it, if your drive refuses to read a disk in couple of attempts, you can't do a thing to make it read.......
