Default powerful desktop or around rs50000 laptop???


im confused which one to buy.my budget is around rs50000.i have an old compaq desktop.should i go for a new desktop or a laptop.i watch quiet a bit of t.v. on my desktop and i want the laptop to do the same job for me.other than watching t.v. i do surfing,listen to music and occasionally play some game.i want to have vista.will the laptop be able to staisfy the requirements of the vista??
or
i should buy a new lcd screen for watching t.v. and movies and stick to my old desktop and xp.kindly help!!!

Dude It makes sense to buy a laptop only if you need a computer on wheels.

On the left side of the ring, weighing in 2ghz dual core a full fledged fire breathing number pulverising monster who will preform no matter what.

And his opponent a slim flimsy laptop which will sucumb to even doom '93 ~.

The choice is obvious.

If you want a laptop go for DELL INSPIRON 6400
It will exceed 50K by more 5-6K

yes buy a laptop only if you are on the move constantly because upgrading components in a laptop is both limited and expensive .

In 50000 you can get a great lappy and deskky .. choose wisely

Get a laptop ONLY if you need the portability. Otherwise, nothing can match the performance, maintenance, upgrading, and the overall comfort of using a desktop...

I've seen this trend lately, people buying laptops for the sake of buying one... end up using it as a desktop.

You can go for Dell/Lenovo with good configs.. and yes you cant get that upgradibility which you can get in Desktop.
