CD-ROM problem

hello guys
i have dell inspiron 8200 notebook
this is the situation:
-c drive is formatted means no OS
-CD-ROM not working

so can i install xp rhru USB...(i m having 2gb pendrive.)
if yes then how?
plz help me out guys

now i have usb bootable device

but the problem is my mobo is not usb bootable.....
lol

i think i have to buy new cd-rom..

Take it to a computer shop, perhaps they can do something so that u will not have 2 buy new CD ROM.
