Default Alternative for Intel 865 mobo

Hello,

I have a P4 3.0 HT processor and 865 Intel mobo with AGP slot and SATA I support only. Currently its assembled with 2GB DDR RAM, 2 SATA drives 160 GB and 250 GB each (Seagate) and a ATI Radeeon 9600 pro 256MB gfx. .
Is there any alternative for my mobo as its performance really sucks??

Thanx in advance.

Budget is not a constrain, but would like to keep my processor, gfx and RAM.
Mobo manufacturers with intel chipsets is what i'm looking for.
Also one question that popped up was how much does power supply affect the performance of a system??
