Question High freqncy noise comin from cabinet

I have 3 SATA hard disks connected in my pc's cabinet.
However recently i noticed that there was some high frequency noise being emitted from the cabinet.
I suspected that the was noise coming from one of my hdd so i tried connecting one hdd at a time and the noise stopped coming.
The hdd which i have now removed is of 40 GB and contains a single partition with only some movies on it.
Could this be a hardware problem or is it that watching movies directly from the hdd has hampered its life?

I have this in my old comp which does not have any sata, this high frequency noise is happening randomly & it still happens , have not figured out what causes this but seems some kind of radio frequency interfering with the speakers or some other devices.

In my case 350 watt intex PSU
2 IDE HDD
P4 1.7
DVD rom
creative speakers
samsung monitor

This noise is surely a radio frequency interfearing with some device in the comp.
