Default usb case for HDD


i need info abt the USB case for hdd.whts its price in mumbai.ne known brand ?.how 2 use it.how 2 give power supply 2 hdd.or it is given through the usb ?

i got a USB case for my 40 GB ATA HDD for 500 bucks,
ADVIK USB Casing - it comes with a power cord which draws power separately. And obviously its Plug-n-Play using the supplied usb cable!!

For 3.5'' ATA HDD

techcom and enter both priced rs 600/- +vat. Packet containcasing,usb cable,power cable,adaptor,deiver for 98. both has warranty on adaptor. if u want local(unknown) brand u will find casing from Rs-350

For 2.5'' ATA HDD

Transcend casing about 900

I own Vantecs PATA and eSATA external cases but I dont expect people to buy them in a hurry as they cost one arm and one leg.... or ... 2500/- for PATA and 3500/- for eSATA (HDD NOT INCLUDED). These are very good cases.

A combined PATA and SATA case which I have seen people mention is the Zippy which can take either of these 2 type of HDDs and this is available in Mumbai for 1200/- I think this may be a better product then the Tech-Com
