Default hArdWare Detection


IS there any procedure to dectect Hardware eg. camera ,sound card,etc through OS without opening case and before installing drivers.

use the add new hardware wizard in control panel.

Or if you are taking about diagnostics try Sisoft Sandra.
There are many more tools depending on your needs.

Gee. Never tried without drivers. But i see no reason why they shouldn't. I mean diagnostics are there to help us identify the hardware using its ports/sockets. Drivers may be needed however if you need to get a better idea of benchmarks.

if your hardware is detected by windows as unknown devices then these softwares will also detect them as unknows device.
