Does Samsung 940 BW support 640x480 resolution

I am having nvidia 6600 and i am abt to buy samsung 940 bw 19" widescreen LCD

I Play games normally at 640*480 res,

I want to know whether my card will support the 640*480 resolution and also does it support the Maximum resolution of 1440*900

Your card will struggle to play games at 1440 X 900. The monitor will scale 640 X 480 also, but it wont look vey good.

I demoed it with my 7600GT & AFAIK it works till 800x600, nvidia driver has an option to "center the output" instead of stretching.

6600 should support 1440 resolution, actually all nvida drivers have the capability to auto detect the wide screen on the 1st boot, u wont see 1440x900 at present monitor configuration, but the moment u connect it will chnage to 1440, if u have disabled the auto option then u can set custom resolution in the nvidia driver & save it.

with 6600 you should be able to play at 800x600 easily. Neeway with 940bw you should be able to play at 640x480.
