hoe to upgrade BIOS ?

how to back-up current BIOS & upgrade it ?
my MB:ASUS P5RD1-VM
Please dont tell me to use a floppy drive.

use asus update http://dlsvr04.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/...M/AsusUpdt.zip
to update and backup your bios from within the windows.

I have a gigabyte motherboard and I too updated my BIOS via windows by downloading the updated version from the manufacturer's website.

I think you too should visit your manufacturer's website and check for the specific model.
