How to go wireless?

Hi guys
In our hostel we had implemented lan with 16 port switch...now due to problems in switch we have to buy a new one..now my question is ..does it make sense to go for wireless network ( we dont have internet) n what all we will have to buy ( for our desktops) to go wireless
Most importantly..is hasslefree gaming possible in wireless network?

yeah hassle free gaming is possible if you use 2.4 ghz network adapters in wifi

you will need a wireless router with 16 hub joints and a WIFI one and then you have to get RECEIVERS ( as much systems you have) and REMEMBER THAT YOU NEED PRO to do that ...

Yea wifi is the solution! Check out january's digit. U have a list of nice wifi routers there!

yeah in jan issue in think they have also given many good routers

I have played games on Wifi... it is just like being on wired lans.. no hassle

so must be having 2.4ghz wireless connectivity
