Question Cd writer does not opens

My pc configuration is Pentium4 1.9 Ghz,intel D845GLVA board and my cd writer is SONY CD-RW CRX230E. My problem is that after I entered my cd and started Nero burning 6 startsmart ,choose option to burn data cd and waited for it to list space of my cd,when nothing happened I exited nero, but after that my cd writer did not detect the cd, It just showd as if there in no cd and nero showd as if there is a blank unnamed cd ,but this was not the case as I had a named and multisession cd inside. After that cdwriter stopped responding to eject command. cd writer does not opens its tray on pressing the button on it.What is the Problem and what can I do?

Default Re: Cd writer does not opens

Firstly.try Installing any other burning Software and check the drive
Secondly,if this doesn't solve, then try updating your firmware
