APC Backups 650 is the best you'll get around that budget. Should cost around 2800 bucks.

APC Or Powersafe. I am using APC. Got replaced just now after 2 years. Brand new unit was given to me and all at my door step. Only I havd to is send a report by email to bangalore HQ, that there is some problem with my UPS which is completing its warranty within a week of 2 years.

Mandatory checks suggested by them on line and once they made sure that unit may be faulty, they immediately asked Agra dealer to replace, though i had purchased it from Pune. They just asked me the serial no. only nad did not even asked me for proof of purchase.

Great service. Very greate product. I think this is yet best in India ahead of powesafe. powersafe, do not have better customer or nil customer support.
I feel sharing experiences here can help some firmup his/her buying decisions.
