Default Mother board for SL6QB


I need immeadiate help for replacing my damaged d 845 gvsr mobo with a new one , the processor is working fine , but which mobo should i use for "SL6QB" processor

here are the processor details

would the 865 series go with this processor ,

is it possible to over clock this processor ? i forgot to mention , i would like to have an asus mobo for this processor

or please suggest any thing other than an genuine intel board that will support this processor

Well i think the sockets are same,it should work fine and if u still suspect it then the only way is to ask your local vendor.Those guys will tell u the cheapst & best motherboard that suits ur pocket.

i had experiences of getting waves on the moitor after using the same socket ...
i was using the processor with an asus mobo ,

And after a month that mobo too showed the same symptoms as mine and both mobos got damaged

hope not because of the exchange done ....
