Mtnl modem problem!

hi guys
im in mumbai havin triband 200 plan
whenever i switch on my modem the power and status led only glows
the rest doesnt glow
in my computer it shows that lan is connected even though the lan led isnt workin
and the status led doesnt blink but is constant.
cud ne1 plz tell me whether its a prob from mtnls side or the prob lies in my modem?
if its in my modem ill just have 2 get it replaced frm the xchange na?

The modem seems to be faulty. If you have rented the modem, the MTNL can replace it for you.
