DDR vs DDR2

Friends keep the technical details aside and tell me how really fast is DDR2 than DDR. Does it make any viewable difference. And same thing about the frequency.

DDR2 is faster but then then it has higher latencies and looser timings ....DDR at tight timings and high speeds was zippier imho.

DDR2 800 and above are very very neat but they are damn expensive at the moment and availability in india is an issue as well.

ohh..yea... DDR modules run at lower speed but have tighter timings.... <3-3-3-8...while DDR2 modules run at higher speeds but have lose timings like.. >4-4-4-10.. Performance quality DDR2 modules are damn expensive in India, and aren't even available..

DDR2 modules OC better....some value DDR2 533MHz can do 800MHz-900MHz...
