Unhappy System Not Detecting Dvd Rom? Why???


HELLO FRIENDs
I have SAMSUNGS 616f DVD ROM.
It Is connected to My SYSTEM BUT NOT DETECTING
IN MY COMPUTER.
I DO ALL THE POSSIBLE JOBS FOR IT BUT NOTHING HAPPENS.
N THE STRANGE IS HERE THAT IT S DETECTED IN BIOS, I BOOT
FROM THAT DRIVE.
I AM NOT ABLE TO IDENTIFY WHAT IS THE PROB.
PLS HELP

have you tried the add new hardware option in control panel?

since ur drive is well detected in bios(u said its bootable),the OS must hav crashed or ur drive is intentionally hidden using registry tweaking.
TRY THESE
> in run command type >the driveletter:"hit enter"(this will work if reg is tweaked by a begginer)
However if this ur personal PC then u might want to repair the os
