DVD writer

well i have bought a new DVd writer from sony now when i tried running a data dvd whish woks fine on my frnds Pc doesnt works at mine explorer shows that free space 0 total space 0 blank cd plze help me i have trried reinstalling the drive even i reinstalled my win xp sp2 rest dvds work fine

which DVD rom ur friend has??....also try using it on other PC...
which DVD rom u have??

And if it is working only on ur friends PC...gift him...merry xmas..

man ur friend would hav writed it with high speed, so its working in his rom only.
just get a blank dvd n tell him to write at 12x or 8x.

see that the dvd is running on some other pc or not....?
U say that u can read other DVDs pretty well so i dont think there is a problem with your DVD drive.....
