Help needed

Hi

I need a comp for my office. I have decided to base it on pentium D processor.

Please help me in deciding the components. It should have onboard graphics, sound, LAN. I want to keep the cost to around 20k. It should be upgradeable in the future. Please give me the details of each component viz. model number, price and from where should I purchase it in Mumbai.

Go for Intel Board if you want onboard graphic card

this config will be around 16000/- add a UPS 2000 more

this is a upgradable pc and you can install more ram and gfx card anytime
i think will work.. and also wait for others to post here look what they say

Dont go for Philips monitor go for Samsang monitor. Its display is good.
For Optical drive if CD ROM/Writer go for Samsang If DVD Writer go for Sony.
You won't need Graphic card as INTEL D965RY have Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X3000 which can even run VISTA.

5K extra wouldn't matter when you are getting a good PC.
He does not need to upgrade for abt. 2-3 yrs

Its his personal choice whether he wants to spend 5K more or not........He may be on shoe string budget........

5k extra dont matter, but the config should be such that i should not be compelled to upgrade for say 2 - 3 yrs

Following changes required

speaker not required, Ram 512MB DDR2 , HDD either 120GB/160GB Seagate/Hitachi, Combo drive from Sony instead of a plain cd writer. what would the final cost come to and can u give me the shop name & contact number from where you inquired about the same.

In the future i may be using my system to use Corel Draw Auto CAD
