Default bsod:on hardwre upgrade


i had a via 845gl board,512 mb ddr,80 gb hd,nvidia mx 4000 with windows xp sp2 pro.i recently bought a new motherboard that is asrock p4i845gv.on installation the system gives the error STOP 0X0000007B(0XF8B18640,0XC0000034,0X00000000,0X0000 0000) and says something about hard disk controller,virus,run chkdsk...please anyone

run memtest on ur ram modules....

You may receive a "Stop 0x0000007B" error message if your computer is infected with a boot-sector virus.

yeah surely affected by a boot sector virus clean up your whole HDD and MBR .
means do partioning again with DM if you have
seagate:

go for the starter edition and select cd image and download (burn it to a cd and then boot from it

if you want a diagnostic tool for removing virus only

cd image
birun and use
