Unhappy cd burn problem


i have a lg dvd rom combo drive(HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4522B). rewritable cd can be easily erased or burn but blank cd can't be burned(2 cd gone corruptted during burning).i buy this combo drive about 1 yr ago.
i m uing nero6 for burn....

Make sure you are using good quality brand blank CD's.

first buy a cd lens cleaner of a good brand as hp or a medium brand as frontech without liquid ones.. clean your combo with that....
then change your cable and then try... try reinstalling nero too

i am using moserbear blank cd . no updated firmware is avialable for my drive.
i just follow up other advises

hey man!!!!try some other burning software........
nero 7 is far far better than nero 6 . u can also try roxio media burning software...

should resolve ur prob!!!

Yeah, you should go for Nero 7.

Moreover LG CD-DVD drives are known to cause a hell lot of problems, like burning error, tray not responding, the button coming out etc.

I have experienced many of these with my friend's computers. So I preferred to go for Sony.

Its high time people stopped buying LG stuffs n LG should stop manufacturing these items
