my cd drive has a problem

i have a pc pentium 4. processor is 3.06. 512 ram drive. i have a big problem in my cd drive. my cd drive is not copying. when i copy, he give a error-data error, no long life cd. anyone can solve this problem. i am wating for solving this query.

I think u cd writer has finished his/her life.U need to buy a new one.

Are you using a CD drive as mentioned in your post or a CD Writer drive. If it is CD Drive, HE will never be able to copy to a blank CD.

You are a funny guy yogi23...you are the first one to decide the sex of the CD Drive and refer to it as a HE...wonder how you figured? jokes apart...was it working before and has stopped working now? please specify and give some details of your CD Drive and also if there are any error msgs showing up etc.
