Default Help!!!!!!!!!

Current configuration.
Intel P4 1.5 Ghz
Intel 845GLLY Mobo
256 SDRAM
SONY DRU 820A DVD-RW drive
I can't afford a new PC right now.

When I am burning DVD using Nero Vision 4 it takes 4-5 hours in encoding it.
I have no AGP slop on MOBO. So I can't install graphix card.
Can PCI graphix card can solve a problem or installing more amount of RAM can be a better solution?

Is all SDRAM runs max at 133Mhz. Is there batter any alternatives for SDRAM for my MOBO. tell me the Price of 512 MB of SDRAM.

Shut down all other processes while you do an encoding task inorder to allocate resources.

You mean encoding DVD format from another format right?

If yes, then it is normal....first save the encode file in your HDD then burn it as normal DVD burning.

Encoding process takes time 4-7 hours and burning takes Max 8-15 minutes.

Definitely adding RAM will increase the performance of ur systemas much as possible because in ur case the processor speed is not so much...

As per as burning DVD is concerned then it will take that much time when the sorce file is other than DVD for ex.. .avi etc....It usually takes 4-6 hours to encode from a different media to a compatible format of DVD.
__________
I am also having the same case as compared to parimal...

But the difference is that

I have P4.
2.6 Ghz processor..
No AGP or PCI-E slot for graphics upgrade..
384 MB DDR RAM

so my question also remains same would it be better to change only MOBO (my budget doesn't permits to upgrade all ) or to add more RAMs..

If sol is to change mobo can anyone suggest a good mobo.. which is available in India or perhaps in KOLKATA ????
