Default Problem With Logitech Cordless Keyboard and Mouse

I have logitech cordless desktop MX-3000(Keyboard & Mouse combo). My mouse & keyboard refuse to work. At first i got problem with mouse few days ago. Mouse pointer didn't move smoothly( was moving intermittently ). After restart it worked fine. That time keyboard was working fine. Now mouse is working fine(though sometimes mouse pointer start moving by itself on screen) but keyboard is not working properly(like some keys respond after pressing many times, some on first go). And sometime both mouse & keyboard totally refuse to work(then improper shutdown is the only option).

Anyone plzzzzzz plzzzzzz help me ????????????????????

I have this same MX300 combo and I found that I had similar problems when I had the drivers for my Microsoft Keyboard and mouse also installed - I removed all drivers of Logitech and Microsoft and restarted the computer and reinstalled only the Logitech Setpoint drivers and the MX3000 combo has worked fine since then.

I found the newer drivers not as good as Setpoint 301 on my setup.

Have You tried another USB2 port. Just to confirm a driver problem - also try running the MX3000 without any drivers and see if it works fine.

look for drivers in below link .... I had problems with the latest Logitech 3.10 drivers - may be they work fine for you so get the latest ones first and try them out.
