Unhappy MP3 Player Malfunctioning

I have a 256MB MP3 player. I tried installing MojoPac which came with this month's Digit. It did not work, so I deleted those files and formatted the drive using windows format tool in FAT32 format. After that the MP3 player is not starting up for listening to music. It freezes after showing the startup animation . The drive is still being detected by computer as removable drive and I'm able to transfer files .
Please help me.
Thanks in advance.

NB:Mojopac failed to create its desktop. It displayed the message 'Failed to create window'.

Go to the dealer for taking a formatting software coz most of th emp3 players work on FAT12 format ... so it cant be formatted with FAT32 or FAT16.

Generally when you buy mp3 player, you also get a small cd which contain formatting tools. Check whether you have once such cd with you and whether it contains the formatting software.

Thanks ionicsachin . After reading your post I dug up my MP3 players manual which buried under many feet of dust. Anyway the supproted filesystem is FAT16. I had seen this earlier witha note not to format it in FAT32. But I misremembered the fact and thought it was actually FAT16 that was bad for the drive. Its working normally again. Sorry for replying so late, my net connection overflowed its limit. ionicsachin Thanks again and Thanks to Ramakrishnan also for replying.
