Changing my RIG pls suggest

1024 MB (PC3200 DDR SDRAM)
Segate 160 GB Sata
Segate Barracuda 120 GB
SONY DVD RW DRU-810A
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 (128 MB)

HP 17" Flat OEM Monitor

I am planning to sell my Processor, MB, Ram and Graphics card to a friend, ang upgrade with new ones

what should I choose, Pls suggest, I am currently Happy With AMD, should i go for that?
