Default Monitor Problem

I have an HCL PC with a 17" CRT monitor....Recently I have been facing a strange prob and that is...there is some disturbance(noise) in the display...My monitor is kept adjacent to the sub-woofer of my 2.1 speaker system and the UPS too is kept on the same desk although away from the monitor...

I wanted to know the cause of this problem and how to rectify it...Plz help me.

Simple, Keep your monitor away from strong electric/magnetic fields. Electric/Magnetic fields deflect the beam in the CRT.

Can be a simple problem with refresh rate. Check your refresh rate and ensure its greater than 70Hz.
